Mid Autumn Festival 2010
Went over to my brother's place to play lantern. In the end, I was the one carrying the lanterns! The kids were more interested in the candles. Haha...
Cayenne got hospitalized! ;(
Cayenne developed flu on Monday 13th September 2010 SUDDENLY. Thereafter, cough and the hateful PHELGM! Sigh. Once got phelgm, I know for sure will have many problems waiting ahead for me...
Tried to quarantine Double Cs, but really hard. So I EXPECTED Cayden will catch the bug soon. Cayenne developed fever on Wednesday afternoon. Thought after 1 or 2 dosages of medicine, the fever should subside. But it did not. In fact the fever shot higher and higher which scared me. Highest was 39. 8 deg! That was on Thursday wee hours. Quickly fed medicine and sponged her. Cayenne didn't like the sponging part but what to do... She cried and begged me not to but I had to be the devil. ;(
Patted her sleep. Realised her breathing kinda of weird. She seemed to use alot of effort to breathe. I was worried. 1 hour later, fever still lingered around 38.8 degrees which I found it quite unusual. I was thinking to send her to hospital in the midnight. But decided to hold on. Anyway the morning came and I told Dennis if Cayenne's fever didn't come down, I would bring her to hospital.
Brought her to Thomson Medical Centre and Doctor said must admit to hospital due to wheezing sound and difficulty in breathing. Need to be on nebulizer as well. I was so blurred cos Cayenne never been admitted to hospital before. I thought it was probably a day admission. Doctor told me at least 3 days. Sigh... Doctor told me that the bug can spread, so better quarantine my Double Cs.
Lucky Dennis was in Singapore last week. So I asked him to bring Cayenne's stuff and mine over. I didn't go back home since Thursday till Saturday. I was missing my Cayden boy badly. But Cayenne needed me now.
I called home to check on Cayden everyday and was hoping that he didn't catch the bug. But my helper told me Cayden started to sneeze a few times and cough. Then stopped. But on Friday, Dennis told me that our helper told him Cayden started to cough with phelgm. Argh! Told Dennis to bring Cayden to hospital as well to do a check on Saturday.
So in the end, Cayden boy also need to be on nebulizer as well! *Double Blows for Mummy! ;(*
