I am happy to spend more and more time with my Cayden boy. ;) & now my boy knows that whenever I come back from CC, I will bring him "gai gai" a.k.a walk downstairs. Haha... He will run quickly to the door when he sees me @ the corridor window. After that, he will go to the shoes and point and says "Shoes". Haha... This is our daily morning routine. ;) I will bring him around the neighbourhood, can easily spend at least 1 hour or even more! Imagine just downstairs only! Oh no, I'm beginning to become like an auntie! (Usually aunties spend alot of time @ neighbourhood shops! Hee... ;p) No offence hor...

Will play/read books to him after that. Last time he "hates" books/flashcards. Now he is better, more interested in books/flashcards. He even can bring the book to me and want me to read to him. ;) One thing he still doesn't like is watch TV. Wonder good or bad...

He likes best is to climb on sofas, touch cable, play with the standing fans! Argh... Scold him sternly, he gives me the kinda of "can't be bothered" face.

Time alone with Cayden *FINALLY*

After I got home from CC, I brought my Cayden downstairs to walk. Time to spend TIME with my Cayden boy... Played and entertained him. I could tell that Cayden today was very happy. Kept laughing and smiling...

I wonder if he thinks "FINALLY MY MUMMY IS TAKING CARE OF ME". Hee... ;p

Son, hope to make up to you in time to come... ;)

Cayden SUDDENLY developed fever on last Thursday night, 21st October 2010. How come?! Why?! Argh...

Fever still going yo-yo despite feeding medicine on Thursday night & midnight.

Was looking very forward to Friday as Dennis was able to take leave to bring us go shopping. In fact wanted to do some furniture shopping for our new home. But where got the mood to go out when my Cayden boy was down with fever? Decided to bring him see GP. GP mentioned that it could be viral infection as no symptoms of cough or flu. Oh TOUCHWOOD! GP told me the fever could well last up to 3 days.

So we stayed at home on Friday, sponging him faithfully, applying the cool pad on his forehead. Finally fever subsided! We went for Japanese food @ Tradehub 21. Then, 7plus in the evening, fever again! ;(

The Friday night and through out the midnight, Cayden had been cranky and fussing around. He didn't want anyone except Dennis and me. So we took turns to handle a cranky fussy boy while our helper slept peacefully. Ha...

Decided to bring him to KK, as I was really worried. His fever came down super SLOW despite medicine. Highest was 40 degrees! Fed him medicine and brought him to KK. Doctor checked again, temperature lingered around 39.4 degrees... Took blood and urine tests. Results came out no urine infection. *Lucky* But got viral infection. So my Cayden boy had to fight the virus himself. No medicine could be given except fever medicine. After speaking to the doctor, I felt more assured.

There went our Saturday. We spent almost 4 hours there. Cayenne was telling us to go "gai gai". We got to tell her that her little brother was sick. Couldn't go out. Could tell that she was disappointed. Me too. But then, my son's health is more important than furniture shopping! Hee...

Lucky Dennis was around last weekend to help out. If not, I didn't know what I should do. Though Cayden is mostly handled by my helper, Cayden still prefers his own parents. So I dare not imagine if Dennis is not in Singapore and if happens that Cayden is not well and Cayenne glues to me like a KOALA...

I started to observe Cayden body seemed to have tiny red dots. I told Dennis straightaway. FAKE MEASLES! Then I'm not so worried. Usually after high fever, fake measles came for few hours or few days. After that, Cayen will be fine. So true enough, Monday wee hours, Cayden still had fever, after that, subsided. & all the dots came out!

So now hopefully the rashes can go away fast.

Brought Cayden back to hospital for review. Doctor said no more phelgm and need not go back unless necessary... TOUCHWOOD! ;p

Back home...

Cayden has discharged today 27th September 2010... When Doctor told me Cayden still couldn't discharge on Saturday, my heart sank... My boy really got problems with the hateful PHELGM!

Now he is still napping, already 2 hours. Hope he can sleep more. He hasn't been sleeping well for the past few days and nights... Cayden boy was so cranky and discomfort in the hospital. Kept making noises. Hope he will be better at home...

Updates on my Cayden boy

Were chatting with Mummy May the other day via MSN that she highlighted to me that maybe Cayden is sick of porridge that was why he rejected the porridge. I didn't realise that, all along he is a "difficult" baby when come to feeding solids. So "sick of porridge" never came across my mind at all. Hee...

Thought of preparing the baked macaroni with minced pork and cheese on Friday, 23th July 2010. Bought the necessary ingredients and guess what. I roughly remember the preparation method & started my preparation. Happily put into oven to baked and just a short while, my Dad was calling for me while I was in the room changing Cayden. He told me it was burnt. WHAT?! My baked macaroni was burnt! ;( I quickly went to the kitchen, true enough, it was BLACK. So disappointing! Quickly prepared cereal for Cayden instead.

While Double Cs were napping, I went to search the receipe online. Oops, my temperature was too high. ;p This lesson taught me to do research properly before jumping into action. Hee...

So Saturday, 24th July 2010, I prepare macaroni again, but in soup. Cayenne ate a small bowl while this Cayden ate probably 10 tiny mouthfuls! Really difficult to feed him. Quickly fed him some milk before I brought him to play slide again. Jann brought Cayenne to slide first while I fed Cayden. This boy upon seeing Jann and Cayenne went out, started making noise and refused his milk, I had to "scold" him sternly. I told him only when you finished your milk, Mummy would bring you to join your sister at the playground. If not, you stayed home. ;p He quickly finished his milk, as promised, brought him to find his sister. And he was having so much fun at the playground.

Jann and I let him walk. He wanted to "run"! I tried to stop him from going to one direction, he could turn his body and changed to another direction to avoid my stopping! Jann commented that I might have a hard time chasing after this boy once he can walk and run. I told Jann jokingly that it is good, take it as a chance to slim down! Haha...

Today, 25th July 2010, I prepared steamed rice with minced pork and pumpkin. Cayden seems to like it! As he is eating rice for the 1st time, I dare not fed him too much, worried might be difficult for his little stomach to digest.

Already prepared a few receipes on hand, probably will try tomorrow and see if this boy likes anot...

Caught in Action!

Wonder if boys tend to be more active, hands more "itchy", must touch here and there, pull this, take that etc...

My boy is in this category. He will roam around in his walker, loves to go into Jann's & my Dad's rooms to touch this and that. In Jann's room, he will open her drawer and take her comb. In my Dad's room, he will play with the Television.

When I "caught him in action", he will look at me with a SHOCKED & GUILTY expression. Haha...

Darling Cayden turns 11 months old!

Alot of mummies told me normally 2nd time mummies will be more "relaxed" on their second baby. I think it is very true! Ever since I got pregnant with Cayden, I simply anyhow ate, drink. Curry, Laksa, Mee siam, mango, jackfruit, and mostly those "heaty" stuff ;p

Now getting worse. I let him try ice cream (abit) last week! Jann was trying to stop me. But I simply went ahead and fed my greedy boy at least 2 tiny bits of ice cream! Haha... Whenever I eat bread, I will feed him some as well.

Bought the raisin bun & Darling Cayden loves it man! Ate almost half! ;)

Recently prepared ikan bilis with lean pork soup, added some mee sua and vegetables. He also liked it.

The next day, I prepared the pork ribs with old melon soup, also added some mee sua for his lunch. Yummy! My boy loves it man! Probably he never tries before. So find it yummy. Haha... I'm going to venture into more receipes soon! ;)
