Mummy's Thoughts - Part 9

Back to the topic of being a SAHM, I really wonder if I'm cut out to be one anot... Am trying very hard to be BUT these 2 days, I had been FLARING UP @ Cayenne. ;( Is it because I'm trying to get used to her with me 24hours a day? Or is it because I feel sick, that why my temper get short? ;(

Plus Cayenne's appetite on solids isn't good. Been trying my very best to dish up yummy food for her. But she simply eats a few mouthful or half a bowl & that's it. I feel stressed and disappointed when coming to her meal times.

I wonder if I can be a patient Mummy anot? Sigh...

Mummy's Thoughts - Part 8

After just 1 week of being a SAHM, I finally "collapsed"... :( Sore throat & body aching, felt abit cold. Not easy to be a SAHM with 2 kids, especially their age gap is so near. & to make things worse, Dennis isn't around to help out. So far I didn't let my helper to do the midnight feeds.

With Cayden in the cot, & Cayenne sleeps with me on the bed, seriously speaking, I haven't been sleeping well. I'm a light sleeper, so guess Mummies out there, you all should know that newborns make alot of noises. Basically, in the 1st few weeks, I didn't sleep at all. & as for Cayenne, she loves to move around when sleeping, I'm so afraid that she might fall off from the bed one day, so I always keep an eye on her as well.

WELL, WELL, WELL, Cayenne finally did... That was, she fell off the bed on yesterday morning! I saw her near the edge, but she was simply too fast for me! I just couldn't grab her on time! ;(

Lucky she was ok, I quickly jumped out from bed and carried her and hugged her tightly. She just cried abit. So last night, I was on standby mode just in case she falls again. *Touchwood*

Guess lack of rest & sleep, my body gives way. I must admit as I get older, my body is weaker. Now Cayenne is very very active, so I need to catch up with her. I jokingly told Jann & Lily that that time I bought the glucose powder when Cayenne was sick, that is more likely for me! I drink a few times to "BOOST" my energy level. Haha...

Was taking pictures of Cayenne last evening and she always liked to come over to take over my position, that was to be the photographer. Keke...

New Sunglasses

Lily came over this morning to visit us, or should I say to come and see Cayenne? Hee... She bought a pair of sunglasses for Cayenne. Really nice of her.

She even helped me to feed Cayden as it was his milk time. After that, she brought Cayenne over to her place and even fed Cayenne lunch and sending her back to me after lunch. ;)

Fried Kway Tiao or Hor Fun?

Thought of preparing fried kway tiao for Cayenne's lunch. Never try before & haven't got the time to search online for receipe. So I just anyhow tried.

Was about to finish preparing, suddenly Cayenne came to the kitchen looking for me. I insisted no carrying her to the kitchen (I got a gate @ the kitchen door, so she couldn't come in), she kept on crying. Cayenne is really a very very stubborn girl. In the end, I gave in... Carried her while I cooking her lunch. Tasted the kway tiao, like not enough taste. So I wanted to add more seasoning.

Told Cayenne politely that Mummy wanted to add more taste to her meal, could she come down 1st... She didn't want to. So no choice, I tried to estimate the amount of seasoning. But alas! Poured too much! So in the end, I have to add alot of water. AND the end result, supposingly to be fried kway tiao became hor fun. ;p

Nevertheless, Cayenne enjoyed the meal that she finished up! Made my day! ;)
