Happy Father's Day!

Organised a steamboat lunch with my family to celebrate Father's Day on last Sunday. We went to Suntec Chong Qing Steamboat for lunch. Had a yummy and delicious lunch there. ;)

Darling Cayden turns 11 months old!

Alot of mummies told me normally 2nd time mummies will be more "relaxed" on their second baby. I think it is very true! Ever since I got pregnant with Cayden, I simply anyhow ate, drink. Curry, Laksa, Mee siam, mango, jackfruit, and mostly those "heaty" stuff ;p

Now getting worse. I let him try ice cream (abit) last week! Jann was trying to stop me. But I simply went ahead and fed my greedy boy at least 2 tiny bits of ice cream! Haha... Whenever I eat bread, I will feed him some as well.

Bought the raisin bun & Darling Cayden loves it man! Ate almost half! ;)

Recently prepared ikan bilis with lean pork soup, added some mee sua and vegetables. He also liked it.

The next day, I prepared the pork ribs with old melon soup, also added some mee sua for his lunch. Yummy! My boy loves it man! Probably he never tries before. So find it yummy. Haha... I'm going to venture into more receipes soon! ;)

Darling Cayden's Development

Darling Cayden has been standing and started to take his 1st step on last Friday 11th June 2010! I was very excited and happy to witness it! Hee... Then on Saturday he walked at least 2, 3 steps! BUT after that, Cayden has become abit "lazy". Let him stand, he will purposely become no strength and slide down like a snake. Refused to stand. Haha... Naughty boy!

He still doesn't really chew. & he definitely become more "greedy" as he gets older. He will swallow his saliva and open his mouth making the "want to eat" expression. Haha...

If he is not happy, he will clench his fists and "scream his head off". Stretch his neck and scream and his face will turn red. So funny.

He is getting more active and simply cannot sit still. Feeding him can kill! Even with toys around, won't keep him still. He will purposely throw toys and when you pick up for him, he will throw again. Then he will become very happy. Haha...

Always like to ngek abit during nap/sleep time. So pretty obvious that he is very tired and sleepy, but when we carry pat him, he will CRY abit then struggle and "climb" on our body. Don't what he is trying to do. Haha...

Having so all these, I'm very happy that Darling Cayden is growing well and approaching his BIG 1 soon!!! ;)

Remark by Jann makes me ponder....

Can't remember the day when Jann made the remark. So many things in my mind and things to do. Wanted to blog about it, have to wait till today.

Jann commented "Cayenne actually is still so young, only 2 years plus old, BUT we've been treating her like as if she is already very big girl."

Suddenly I was like "Oh". I realize I have been expecting too much from my little girl. I didn't do it purposely but then probably of the arrival of Cayden, Cayenne has to be "automatically" be grown up suddenly. Obedient overnight etc.

It isn't fair to her! Having Cayden around means Cayenne has to share our love, attention. & YET I expect her to be good girl at most times.

I've been keeping Jann's remarks in my heart at all times. I will always recall that my little girl is still a young toddler. I CAN'T expect too much from her.

CCK Swimming Complex, 12th June 2010, Saturday Afternoon

Ever since Cayenne has been swimming for twice a week, she has been bugging us to bring her go swimming. So we promised her Saturday would bring her there. Was drizzling @ our side here when we were having lunch, since she was happily playing with her toys, she seemed to have forgotten about swimming. We decided not to bring up the word "swimming". Hee...

After a short while, rain stopped, it was around 1plus. Such a lazy afternoon, though it is GSS now, we got nothing to shop. To stay home, hmm.... Boring... So I asked Dennis if he wanted to bring Double Cs to swim anot. Of cos, Dennis never reject. He is always such a accomodating husband, daddy. ;)

So we quickly packed some stuff and off we went to CCK Swimming Complex. Never been there before. It was much smaller than the one @ Jurong. I still prefer the Jurong one. More fun though I hardly get into the water. Hee...

Anyhow bath Cayden cos it was really difficult bath him in such a "not-so-friendly" changing rooms. ;p The changing room was more for older toddlers and children. Babies abit difficult. No changing table to put him down and wear his diaper and clothes too. BUT wait, being a experienced mummy now, I can! Haha... Where? Where? Where else but on the bench! ;p

Lucky we came "early" cos around 2.40pm, it started to pour and all had to be out of the pool. By then, we had already bathed Double Cs and enjoying our snacks @ the canteen.

After that, we headed back home to rest. Double Cs napped soundly while on the way home. Good! Should bring them go swimming often cos normally can nap well. Even for adults. Hee...

Safra Jurong - Kidz Amaze, 10th June 2010, Thursday

Brother asked us if we were interested to join them to the Kidz Amaze and swimming after that. Well, of cos we were and did join them! Dennis and I never (if possible) miss the chance of bringing our Double Cs for outdoor activities! Hee...
Brother's family came over to Dad's place and the kids were playing while Cayden was having his lunch.

The BIRTHDAY BOY! Little Andre turns 4 years old on 10th June! Happy Birthday!

We reached the Kidz Amaze. I was very fasincated and excited! Abit "moutain tortoise" here. 1st time visit. Very interesting!
