My Cayenne's heading to Childcare Centre tomorrow 05th October 09, Monday...

Seriously, I feel neither happy nor excited about it at all. In fact, if you guys asked me my feelings now, SAD is the word to describe my feelings. ;(

I know going to Childcare Centre has more advantages than disadvantages. But I just 不舍得 my Cayenne to go Childcare Centre. We are talking about letting her go WHOLDE DAY! Simply 不舍得! 不舍得!

Sigh. The thought of it every time will make my tears flow.

Of cos I know once Cayenne settles into the CC, learning things, learning independent, Dennis, cousins & even friends will tell me "See. I told you long ago, that going to CC is definitely doing Cayenne good."

I also know that, my dear hubby, my dear cousins & dear friends. But I just wish that you guys can empathize my feelings of being a Mummy. If given a choice, I rather my Cayenne goes to half day CC or playgroup @ this point of time. In my heart, though CC allows 18 months old toddlers to join, I still think this age is still too young. What I mean is there won't be one-to-one attention given to each toddler.

There has been a battle between my head and heart ever since I knew Cayenne might go to CC. Positive Sides are learning things, be independent, mingle & socialize with little young friends. Downside (purely my opinions) is no 1-to-1 attention given & get sick easily. Been asking myself many times why I don't prefer to let Cayenne go to CC whole day. I think I can give you guys the answer now. Because in my heart, I still think Cayenne is too young to go to CC whole day. & the thought of NO 1-to-1 attention given to Cayenne makes me sad? Worry? Stressed? Hmm... I can't find any word to best describe my feelings now.

But since I already promised Dennis that I'll let Cayenne try out CC & EVENTUALLY whole day, I'll learn to accept it & take it in a positive way. (I hope so!)

Let's see how things turn out tomorrow. But basically the next 3 days, I'm allowed to stay with Cayenne in the CC, the principal told me the 1st 3 days (half day) is only to let Cayenne roam around, familiarize with the environment. 4th day onwards, will let her stay for nap times. Ha... I wonder how Cayenne will nap without me around. Cayenne needs me around when she naps. I have to lie down with her on the mattress. Even if I don't, for example, I'm surfing net, Cayenne will lie beside my chair and sleeps! The mattress is just few steps away FYI!

SO, I wonder if I need to lie down with her during nap time on the 4th day @ CC? Somemore with her little friends? Hmm... ... ...

We went Airport again! To send Aunt Jann off to Switzerland, Paris & Dubai!!! So envy!

Mid Autumn Festival - Part 1 03rd October 09, Saturday Evening

Had dinner @ downstairs yesterday with my family. Didn't bring Cayden down. My helper stayed home with Cayden while we were having dinner downstairs. ;p

My dad wanted to pack some dinner back for us as I didn't prepare Cayenne's meal. Nowadays, I super lax on Cayenne's meals. As long as she eats, I'll be very happy! If I didn't prepare her meals (which is usually once a week affair though), Cayenne eats what I eat! & she simply enjoys alot! ;)

But my brother told us they were coming over for dinner. So we ate dinner downstairs & poor Cayenne had hers very late yesterday. Around 7pm? She was so angry that she kept staring @ my nephew Andre's porridge. ;p No choice, I let her drink some barley and fed her some rice.

So when the dishes came, I quickly fed her. At the moment, I felt I was a lousy Mummy! ;(

Cayenne enjoyed alot the dinner & her cousins Aaron & Andre were entertaining her. ;)
