Wanted to Surprise...

Lily on Friday morning (still CNY period). Popped over to her place but she wasn't around. Haha... So brought Double Cs back home again. As the weather was so warm, even though we stayed nearby, to and fro the journey, I was already sweating like mad! ;p

02nd February 2010,Tuesday Morning Surprise Visit from...

Lily came over on Tuesday morning to visit us. She even bought some snacks for Cayenne. Very nice of her. ;)

We chatted for quite a while before she left to do her marketing. Before Lily left, she carried Cayden & my Cayden was STARING HARD @ Lily. Thinking he is trying to recall who this cheerful smiling lady is. Lily & her family came over for Cayden's baby shower, carried and talked to him. So probably he finds Lily familiar but at the same time, seems like never seen her before. Haha...

Finally after a long hard stare (almost no blinking), he finally smiled @ Lily! Haha...

Lily commented that Cayenne is really very clingy to me. She literally leaned against me while Lily & I were chatting. Lily wanted to carry her, she didn't want to. Lily told me that it is like that & she is used to it.

In the evening, I told Dennis and Jann that my Cayenne is so "无情". Haha...

Cayenne's back with Lily on 26th October 09, Monday

Oh yes, I have seeked Lily's help in taking care of Cayenne again for these two months. Yesterday I sent her to Lily's place. She got a panicked and nervous look when Lily told her to say bye bye to me. Now saying bye bye is a "forbidden" word in front of Cayenne. She will quickly "glues" to me whenever possible, fearing that I might go away.

She cried when I left her in Lily's place. I cried too when I walked away. Felt very heartpained. I called up Lily in the afternoon to check on Cayenne. Lily told me that Cayenne though cried, it was only a short moment. On and off she would look for me.

Evening quickly rushed to pick her up. Lily brought her downstairs to wait for us. I immediately carried her and she looked moody, unhappy. Touched her body and hands. WARM. Gosh, think she was going to fall sick again. True enough, checked her temperature when we reached home. Running a fever of 38 degrees. Fed her medicine.

Clinged on me after that, I couldn't even bath. Quickly took a FAST SHORT bath while Dennis was distracting her but alas, she still came to the bathroom to look for me.

Before that, I almost had difficulty to bath Cayden as Cayenne kept wanting me to carry. Lucky I still managed to bath Cayden but had to ask my helper to dress Cayden up.

I spent so little time with Cayden. Felt so guilty.

Yesterday was my 1st day back to work after 4 months of Leave. Really miss my Double Cs.

Mummy's Thoughts - Part 10

A minor matter can simply trigger my emotions sometimes. At times, I can't stand my own emotions. ;p

Well, what is it this time, Mummy Esther?

Lily was so nice to come over to visit us in the mid morning. She carried Cayenne and fed her some bread. But this time I observed Cayenne seemed to be alittle reserved in front of Lily. We sat down to chat & Cayenne kinda of struggled to get down and sat on my laps instead. I felt abit "pai say" cos Cayenne used to be so so close to Lily, to the extent that Cayenne called her "Mama" & didn't want to follow us back home when we went to pick her in the evening.

Anyway, Lily & I continued our chat, updating each other on our lives, especially little Cayenne's one.

Lily carried Cayenne again & told her "Come, Auntie bring you to Auntie's house." Hmm... This time round, Cayenne rejected and struggled to get free from Lily, crying. In the end, back to my arms again. I kept telling Cayenne that she cannot like that, Auntie Lily has been taking care of her since young etc. But Cayenne simply ignore my words, just kept crying. Lily, I suppose she expected this outcome, assured me that it was like that one, cos almost 2 weeks she didn't see Cayenne, so Cayenne kinda of "forgotten" her. Lily kept saying it was alright.

Upon hearing these, emotions flow within me. I felt sad, "pai say"... Am thinking if I am Lily, for sure I'll be heartbroken. But then again, guess Lily is used to this hard reality. She has been taking care of so many babies. Come & go, that is so common. Hmm... ... ...

New Sunglasses

Lily came over this morning to visit us, or should I say to come and see Cayenne? Hee... She bought a pair of sunglasses for Cayenne. Really nice of her.

She even helped me to feed Cayden as it was his milk time. After that, she brought Cayenne over to her place and even fed Cayenne lunch and sending her back to me after lunch. ;)

A sad moment... Yesterday...

28th August 09, Friday...

Went to pick up Cayenne in the evening. On the way to Lily's place, was worried that I might cry. Me full of water. Keke...

Lily dressed Cayenne up in a very nice pretty dress. So happy to see Cayenne so pretty. ;)

Lily told Cayenne to obey me, must be filial, must eat & drink well. Lily gave Cayenne a very tight hug & kiss. Suddenly I felt tears just @ the edge of my eyes... Am always an emotional aquarian. Lily started to tear abit, upon seeing that, my tears flowed out as well. What an tearful event for us. Tried very hard to control my tears. As I always mentioned in my blog, Lily is really a nice and friendly lady who dotes and loves my Cayenne alot. Felt sad that Cayenne no longer under her care. Because of Lily, I've learnt and still learning to be a good Mummy.

I understand there are stages of people coming in and out of our lives. Guess this is life. Not only Cayenne feel attached to Lily. (Cayenne calls Lily "mama" which I'm not jealous or unhappy at all) Afterall, Lily has been treating Cayenne like her own daughter (I could tell). I feel attached to Lily too. *Shy* Guess it is hard to find someone whom u can trust and confide into. I'm glad that I found one.This is FATE. ;)

Lily has been a great help to me. I'm very fortunate and blessed to find someone like her to take care of my Cayenne. Lily is the 1st and only baby sitter whom I met and on the spot decided to let her take care of Cayenne. Lily is such a cheerful and happy lady. She is always so positive in her thinking. Be it family life, husband-&-wife relationship. She has been giving very good and constructive advices to me.

Her husband, 3 lovable kids & her eldest daughter's boyfriend all love and dote on Cayenne. Cayenne is such a fortunate girl to receive so much love and attention from them. Really happy to see my Cayenne has been so happy with them.

I really appreciate their kindness, attentiveness and concern for my Cayenne.
